The API provides RESTful integration with Ecobank's financial services, enabling partners to implement operations like payments, collections, remittances, account management, direct debit, bill payments, cash token generation, and account opening via a unified sandbox/production environment.

All endpoints use HTTP POST exclusively. Requests and responses are JSON-formatted, with mandatory Content-Type: application/json and Accept: application/json headers.

After signing up on the developer portal, API credentials (API key, client ID, secret key) from your dashboard. Use the sandbox base URL provided during onboarding.
